Crvena zvezda director Zvezdan Terzić says Arnautović received an offer but a transfer is unlikely. Goalkeeper Dmitrović is also hesitant to return due to personal and family reasons.
Crvena zvezda general director Zvezdan Terzić has confirmed that the Serbian champions have reached out to Marko Arnautović, who recently left Inter, but admitted that a move is unlikely.
“Marko Arnautović is a player of European class and someone who could definitely help Crvena zvezda, even though he was born in 1989. He has our offer, but I don’t think it’s realistic,” Terzić said in an interview with Maxbet Sport.
Terzić also addressed the situation surrounding Marko Dmitrović, a former Serbian international goalkeeper, whose potential return to the club remains uncertain.
“Marko Dmitrović is definitely one of Crvena zvezda's targets. Our coach Vladan Milojević, who trained him in the youth academy, really wants him. He called him, and I personally met with Marko in Madrid. But it’s complicated,” Terzić explained.
“Dmitrović has been living in Spain for nine years and is waiting for Spanish citizenship. He’s also expecting a child and feels comfortable there with his family. On the other hand, he told me he’s a big Crvena zvezda fan and appreciated the invitation. Unfortunately, he doesn’t have fond memories of his last days at Marakana—it was a very tough period. Milojević called him again, but honestly, I’m not optimistic that Marko Dmitrović will come to rvena zvezda” he added.
