Crystal Palace want Strahinja Pavlović, but Milan are not willing to sell him for less than €40 million, according to reports in England.
Strahinja Pavlović has emerged as a transfer target for Crystal Palace, with manager Oliver Glasner reportedly pushing for the Serbian defender's arrival, writes The Sun.
The Premier League club have already submitted a €30 million offer, but Milan are refusing to negotiate unless that figure increases significantly. The Serie A side reportedly value Pavlović at €40 million and will not consider selling him for less.
The 23-year-old, who has impressed in both club and international football, is high on Glasner’s wishlist as Palace seek to reinforce their backline. However, Milan remain firm on their stance and believe Pavlović still has much more to offer at the San Siro.
If Palace fail to meet Milan's valuation, they are expected to shift focus to Tiago Djaló, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Juventus from Porto.
Pavlović’s future now hinges on whether Palace will raise their offer – and whether Milan are ready to cash in.
