Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool, and Tottenham are all showing interest in Wolves striker Matheus Cunha, who will be available this summer for €75 million.
Matheus Cunha has been one of the standout performers in the Premier League this season, and now four of England’s biggest clubs are ready to battle for his signature this summer. The Brazilian forward has caught fire at Wolves, earning a Brazil national team recall and attracting the attention of Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool, and Tottenham.
While Wolves resisted offers during the January transfer window, Cunha’s situation will change significantly in the summer. According to British media, the 24-year-old has a €75 million release clause written into the contract he extended in January until 2029—a figure that gives interested clubs a clear path to sign him without negotiating with Wolves.
Cunha agreed to the extension precisely on the condition of the fixed buyout clause, and those terms remain valid until the end of the summer transfer window. Crucially, the fee won’t change even if Wolves are relegated, though that currently appears unlikely.
The forward has already scored 13 Premier League goals this season, matching his international caps for Brazil (13). His form, versatility, and explosiveness have made him one of the most in-demand forwards in the league.
All four top clubs—Arsenal, United, Liverpool, and Spurs—have reportedly expressed interest to Cunha’s representatives, but none have taken formal steps toward triggering the clause just yet. With his price tag now public and his performances not going unnoticed, that could change very quickly as the transfer window approaches.
