Daniel Wass of Brøndby IF spoke to the club’s website about the importance of their upcoming match against Legia Warsaw in showcasing Brøndby's capabilities in European football.
Tomorrow, Brøndby Stadion will host the first of two Conference League qualification matches between the Danish silver medalists and the Polish side, Legia Warsaw. These are the kind of matches Brøndby’s players look forward to, as Wass explained:
"Now is the time for us to show who Brøndby IF is in Europe. It’s against opponents like this, who were also in the group stage last season, that we need to be on our toes and ready, and I feel that we are," emphasized the midfielder.
"We need to bring the approach we always bring. We want to control the game our way by holding onto the ball. If we can do that, I’m confident we will get the best out of the match."
Brøndby is currently navigating a packed schedule. After the match against Legia Warsaw, they will face AGF on Sunday, followed by the return leg against Legia in Poland the following Thursday.
