Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is set to join PSG in a €70–80M transfer, marking the end of his time in Serie A as he moves to France.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Napoli’s 23-year-old Georgian sensation, is on the verge of completing a high-profile transfer to Paris Saint-Germain. According to multiple sources, including the reputable Gianluca Di Marzio, the deal is expected to be finalized next week, with a transfer fee reported to be between €70 and €80 million.
For PSG, securing Kvaratskhelia would represent a major coup, as the winger is widely regarded as one of the best players in Serie A. With Napoli sitting at the top of the league table, Kvaratskhelia has been a pivotal figure in their success.
Since joining Napoli, Kvaratskhelia has made 107 appearances, scoring 30 goals and providing 29 assists. His performances over the last two years have consistently linked him with a move to Europe’s elite clubs, and it now appears that PSG has won the race for his signature.
While Napoli leads Serie A, they are absent from European competitions this season, whereas PSG competes both domestically and in the Champions League. The allure of playing on the continental stage likely played a significant role in Kvaratskhelia’s decision.
Known as “Kvaradona” among fans for his skillful and electrifying play, Kvaratskhelia’s departure would mark the end of an era for Napoli. However, it could also provide the club with significant financial resources to strengthen their squad.
