The popular Italian presenter, who is covering the tournament for DAZN, took advantage of a break in her busy schedule to explore New York before returning to the studio.
Leotta shared a collection of photos on Instagram showing herself walking through the city in a fitted black athletic outfit, accessorised with sunglasses and a handbag.
Other images captured the 34-year-old smiling in the back of a car before appearing on air during DAZN's World Cup coverage from Times Square, where she was seen dancing behind the scenes before the broadcast.
Leotta remains one of football's biggest media personalities, with more than 9.4 million followers on Instagram. Her latest post quickly attracted thousands of comments from fans praising both her style and her World Cup coverage.

The presenter recently returned to television after welcoming her second child earlier this year with husband Loris Karius, the former Liverpool and Newcastle United goalkeeper.
