PSG reportedly eye Dinamo Zagreb’s Martin Baturina in a potential €25 million transfer that could shake the regional football market.
Dinamo Zagreb managed to hold onto Martin Baturina during the summer transfer window, despite significant interest, particularly from Fiorentina, which reportedly offered €18 million. However, with the January transfer window approaching, the Croatian champions face a much tougher challenge in keeping their star midfielder.
According to Germanijak.hr, the French giants Paris Saint-Germain have now shown serious interest in the 20-year-old Croatian international.
Potential €25 million deal in the works
While the transfer is not yet finalized, reports suggest that PSG could be ready to pay up to €25 million for Baturina. If this materializes, it would mark one of the biggest transfers in Dinamo Zagreb's history.
To date, Dinamo’s record outgoing transfer was Joško Gvardiol, who moved to RB Leipzig for just under €40 million. Dani Olmo also joined Leipzig for €34 million, while Marko Pjaca moved to Juventus for €29 million.
Baturina’s rise in demand
Despite a slight dip in form in recent weeks, Baturina remains one of the most promising midfield talents in Croatian football. A move to PSG would not only solidify Dinamo's reputation for developing world-class players but also inject significant funds into the club's coffers.
The coming weeks could prove pivotal as negotiations unfold, with PSG potentially securing one of the brightest talents in the region.
