Dinamo Zagreb are close to signing Slaven Belupo playmaker Adriano Jagušić, with an agreement in place that includes a future sell-on clause.
Dinamo Zagreb are on the verge of completing another significant domestic transfer, with Adriano Jagušić set to become the club’s newest signing.
According to reports, Dinamo and Slaven Belupo have reached an agreement, and the 20-year-old attacking midfielder is expected in Zagreb shortly to undergo a medical before signing his contract.
Deal structured with future in mind
While the full financial details have not been officially disclosed, it is understood that Dinamo have offered a lower fixed transfer fee, offset by a significant percentage of a future sale. That structure proved decisive in convincing Slaven Belupo to green-light the move.
At Maksimir, there is a strong belief that Jagušić’s market value could rise quickly, particularly if he earns a place in the senior Croatia national team and potentially features at the World Cup.
Breakout season in Koprivnica
Jagušić has been one of the standout performers of the season for Slaven Belupo and has attracted interest from several European clubs. Despite receiving foreign offers, none aligned with both the club’s and the player’s expectations — until Dinamo made their move.
In the current campaign, he has recorded nine goals and six assists, underlining his influence in the final third. At international level, he has already made eight appearances for Croatia’s U21 side.
A move delayed, not abandoned
Dinamo were already keen on Jagušić last summer, but the midfielder opted to remain in Koprivnica to secure regular playing time. That decision has paid off, allowing him to develop consistently and establish himself as one of the most promising young players in the HNL.
If the transfer is finalised as expected, Dinamo will add a highly rated domestic talent to their squad — and potentially one of the most valuable Croatian players to emerge this season.
