Inter’s key player Denzel Dumfries has signed a contract extension until 2028, securing his future with the Italian champions and earning a pay raise to €4 million annually.
Denzel Dumfries, the 28-year-old Dutch international, has signed a new contract with Inter Milan that will keep him at the club until 2028. The deal, which strengthens Inter’s squad stability, comes as a major relief for head coach Simone Inzaghi, who relies on Dumfries as a crucial part of the team.
The right-back joined Inter in 2021 from PSV Eindhoven and has been a consistent performer for the Italian champions. Over his Inter career, Dumfries has made 147 appearances, scored 13 goals, and solidified his reputation as one of the top full-backs in Europe.
According to Italian media, the new contract includes a salary increase to €4 million per year, reflecting his importance to the team. Dumfries has also been a standout performer for the Dutch national team, earning 63 caps and scoring 9 goals in his international career.
