Dušan Tadić faces big career move: Al-Qadsiah offers €6 million as Fenerbahçe considers deal

Dušan Tadić, the former Serbia captain, may continue his career in Saudi Arabia. The talented attacker has received an offer from Al-Qadsiah.

Tadić could leave Fenerbahçe as the Istanbul club has received an offer from the Saudi team worth €6 million. While the financial details of the offer for the 35-year-old Serbian are not disclosed, Saudi clubs are known for their generous financial packages, so the figures are unlikely to be a problem.

However, it remains to be seen whether Fenerbahçe will be satisfied with the €6 million offer, given that Tadić’s market value is currently €3.5 million.

Tadić joined Fenerbahçe last summer as a free agent from Ajax, signing a two-year contract that keeps him with the Turkish club until the summer of the following year. The offer from Saudi Arabia is now on the table, leaving it up to Tadić, coach José Mourinho, and the club's management to decide on the next steps.

The former Serbia captain has played 57 matches for Fenerbahçe, scoring 16 goals and providing 18 assists. It remains to be seen whether he will stay with the club or if Mourinho will decide he is essential for the new season.

Tadić had previously enjoyed a successful spell at Ajax, becoming a club icon with 105 goals and 112 assists in 241 appearances. Before Ajax, he played for Southampton, Twente, Groningen, and his hometown club Vojvodina.

Now, Tadić faces a significant decision about whether to leave Turkey for Saudi Arabia. Despite the impressive financial offer, Al-Qadsiah is a team that has recently entered the top tier of Saudi football.

Recently, Tadić made headlines in Serbia due to a public dispute with Serbian coach Dragan Stojković over decisions made during the European Championship. Tadić ultimately decided to retire from international football after 111 caps and 23 goals, leaving the national team amid controversy but celebrated as a hero.
