After a period on the sidelines, Dušan Vlahović returned to Juventus’ starting lineup for the first time in 2025 and marked the occasion with a decisive goal in a 1-0 victory against Cagliari. The 24-year-old striker, who had been benched in favor of Randal Kolo Muani under coach Thiago Motta, seized his opportunity and delivered when it mattered most.
Following the match, Vlahović addressed his recent challenges and uncertainty surrounding his future at the club:
"I scored, but the most important thing is that we won. As for my situation, I’m calm. I'm a professional, always available to help the team. These things don't affect me because I know I have to give my best every time. That's my job, and I have no problem with it," said the Serbian forward.
Despite speculation that Vlahović could be sold this summer, his performance demonstrated that he still has plenty to offer Juventus. With nine goals in 20 Serie A matches this season, he remains a key attacking option as the club pushes for a strong finish to the campaign.
