Eintracht Frankfurt reportedly want €100 million for Hugo Ekitike, with Arsenal, Tottenham, and Manchester United showing interest after his impressive season.
Hugo Ekitike could be the next Bundesliga star on his way to the Premier League, as several English giants have begun closely monitoring the 22-year-old Eintracht Frankfurt striker, according to reports from the UK.
The French forward has enjoyed a standout campaign since joining Eintracht from Paris Saint-Germain last summer in a €16 million deal. In all competitions this season, he has registered 21 goals and 9 assists, filling the void left by Omar Marmoush, who was sold to Manchester City for €75 million in the winter transfer window.
Despite losing their top scorer midway through the campaign, Eintracht’s form has remained strong, with Ekitike stepping up as the club's new attacking leader. With five games remaining, Frankfurt sit third in the Bundesliga, well-positioned for a Champions League return, and remain alive in the Europa League, where they face Tottenham in a high-stakes quarter-final second leg this Thursday, following a 1-1 draw in London.
Ekitike’s performances have reportedly caught the eye of Arsenal, Tottenham, and Manchester United, all of whom are said to be closely tracking his development. Given his contract runs until June 2029, Eintracht are under no pressure to sell — and they’ve made their stance clear.
According to British media citing German sources, Frankfurt will demand €100 million for Ekitike, hoping to repeat the kind of blockbuster deal they struck with City for Marmoush. The message to suitors is simple: he won’t come cheap.
Having come through the ranks at Reims, Ekitike was once seen as one of the most promising young strikers in France. After a brief and difficult stint at PSG, he’s now thriving in Frankfurt — and his next move could once again place him on one of Europe’s biggest stages.
