Eintracht Frankfurt offers €12.5M plus bonuses for Red Star’s Andrija Maksimović, but the Serbian club demands at least €15M for their 17-year-old talent.

Eintracht Frankfurt has made a formal offer to Red Star Belgrade for Andrija Maksimović, but the Serbian champions are far from satisfied with the proposed terms. The Bundesliga side has tabled a bid of €12.5 million plus bonuses, significantly below Red Star's asking price of €20 million.

While Red Star is reportedly open to negotiating for a lower amount, they are unwilling to accept anything less than €15 million.

For now, the club has not responded to Eintracht's offer and appears to be waiting for other interested teams to make their move. Maksimović, one of the brightest prospects in Serbian football, has drawn attention from some of Europe’s biggest clubs, including Liverpool, Juventus, and Borussia Dortmund, although none of them have submitted a bid yet. Salzburg is also rumored to be interested but has yet to make an official approach.

The 17-year-old midfielder has been a standout performer for Red Star this season, contributing three goals and four assists in 18 appearances. With plenty of time left in the transfer window, Red Star is expected to delay any decisions on Maksimović's future, hoping for a bidding war among the interested clubs.

Maksimović isn’t the only player linked with a move away from the Marakana this January. Nasser Djiga is reportedly close to joining an English club, with a transfer fee potentially reaching €13 million. Meanwhile, Milson, Cherif Ndiaye, and Vanja Drkušić are also rumored to be on their way out.
