Real Madrid forward Endrick and his wife Gabriely Miranda have announced they are expecting a baby, less than two years after meeting and months after their unusual relationship contract went public.
Endrick and his wife Gabriely Miranda have announced they are expecting their first child, marking a new milestone in one of football’s most talked-about relationships.
The news was shared on social media, where Miranda posted emotional photos and a video, writing: "Now there are five of us," referring to the couple and their two dogs.
Fast-moving relationship
The couple married in September 2024, less than a year after meeting, and have quickly built a life together that has attracted strong public attention.
Their relationship gained global headlines due to a reported “relationship contract”, which included a series of strict rules and commitments.
Among the clauses were limits on behavior, a requirement to express affection regularly, and even unusual conditions such as banning a “virtual girlfriend” in video games and restricting interactions on social media.
Support through career changes
Miranda has followed Endrick closely throughout his career moves, including his transfer to Real Madrid from Palmeiras in 2024.
She also relocated during his recent loan spell at Lyon, where the young forward is seeking more regular playing time.
Mixed form on the pitch
Endrick, 19, has shown flashes of quality, including a hat-trick against Metz, and has recorded six goals and five assists for Lyon.
However, his recent performances have drawn criticism from coach Paulo Fonseca.
"I'm not satisfied with his performance. He has a responsibility to do more."
Balancing life and expectations
The young Brazilian now faces a new challenge, balancing rising expectations in European football with major changes in his personal life.
With a child on the way and his career still developing, Endrick enters a crucial phase both on and off the pitch.
