Endrick has produced nine goal contributions in eight games for Lyon, matching his Real Madrid output in far fewer minutes and boosting his case for Brazil’s World Cup squad.
Endrick is making a strong statement in Ligue 1.
The 19-year-old striker, on loan from Real Madrid to Lyon, has delivered five goals and four assists in eight matches. He reached nine goal contributions in only 672 minutes.
That equals his total at Madrid, where he needed 40 appearances and 946 minutes to produce the same output.
In the recent derby defeat against Marseille, which Lyon lost 3-2, Endrick provided two assists. Despite the setback, Lyon remains third and pushes for a Champions League place.
Next, Lyon face Paris FC in the league and Lens in the French Cup, with Lens still chasing leaders Paris Saint-Germain.
The loan deal does not include a purchase option so that Endrick will return to Madrid in the summer. With the World Cup approaching, his form strengthens his case for a place in Brazil’s national team squad.
Madrid invested nearly €50 million to sign him from Palmeiras in 2024. In France, he is showing why.
