Real Madrid starlet Endrick is expected to leave on loan in January, with French side Lyon emerging as the leading destination for the Brazilian forward.
Endrick Felipe, Real Madrid’s teenage sensation, looks set to leave the Spanish capital in January, with a loan move becoming increasingly likely after a frustrating start to the season.
The 19-year-old Brazilian forward has played just 11 minutes for Real Madrid this campaign, struggling to find space in a squad packed with attacking options. Less than a year before the 2026 World Cup, Endrick’s chances of returning to Brazil’s senior national team have sharply diminished.
Lyon emerge as the leading candidate
According to L’Équipe, Lyon have emerged as clear favourites to land the player on loan for the remainder of the season. Real Madrid are open to the move but insist there will be no buy option included in the deal.
Endrick has reportedly already spoken with Lyon coach Paulo Fonseca and, following their conversation, expressed a strong preference to continue his development in Ligue 1.
Real Madrid’s long-term plan
Madrid still view Endrick as one of their brightest long-term prospects. The plan is for him to gain valuable first-team experience in France before returning to Spain next summer to compete for a place in the squad.
A short-term move to Lyon could provide Endrick with the regular minutes he needs — and a chance to prove why Real Madrid invested so heavily in him.
