Real Madrid confirmed 18-year-old Endrick will miss the Club World Cup after suffering a hamstring injury, sidelining him for two months.

Real Madrid have been dealt another injury blow ahead of the 2025 Club World Cup, with teenage sensation Endrick ruled out due to a hamstring issue.

The club released an official statement on Wednesday confirming the 18-year-old has picked up a hamstring injury in his right leg. Tests revealed damage to the joint tendon, and although Madrid have not given a recovery timeline, Spanish media reports suggest a two-month absence.

“Following tests carried out today by the Real Madrid Medical Services on our player Endrick, he has been diagnosed with a hamstring injury in his right leg. Pending evolution,” read the statement.

This setback means Endrick will miss the entire Club World Cup, set to begin on June 14 in the United States. It also ends his debut season at Madrid prematurely, just as the Brazilian was expected to feature on the global stage with the 15-time European champions.

Endrick, who only joined Real Madrid this year after a much-anticipated move from Palmeiras, had shown promise in recent appearances and was likely to play a role in the expanded Club World Cup campaign under incoming coach Xabi Alonso.

The injury adds to Madrid’s growing list of absentees and complicates their squad planning ahead of what was supposed to be a marquee summer tournament.
