Endrick delivered a standout performance at the Parc des Princes, where he led Lyon to a 2-1 victory over Paris Saint-Germain and confirmed his enormous potential.
The young Brazilian prodigy continues to justify his status as one of the most exciting talents of his generation. The 19-year-old, who joined Real Madrid from Palmeiras a year and a half ago for around 50 million euros, is now shining on loan in France and sending strong signals to Madrid.
In his first season at Real Madrid, Endrick made 37 appearances and scored seven goals, but he rarely started matches. This season, his role became even more limited due to competition from Kylian Mbappé, Vinícius Júnior, and Rodrygo, which led to a loan move to Lyon in January.
That move has proven effective. Endrick quickly became an important player in the French league, recording seven goals and seven assists in 17 matches.
His latest performance came on the biggest stage. In the derby against Paris Saint-Germain, he led Lyon to a surprising 2-1 victory with a goal and an assist.
The match at the Parc des Princes started perfectly for the visitors. Endrick shocked the home fans in the 6th minute with a precise shot from the corner, beating goalkeeper Matvey Safonov.
Lyon continued with an aggressive approach, and in the 18th minute, Endrick assisted Afonso Moreira, who made it 2-0 after a quick counterattack.
PSG then took control of the game but failed to convert their chances. Gonçalo Ramos came closest, missing a penalty after his shot was saved by Dominik Greif.
The home side only managed to reduce the deficit in stoppage time, when Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scored a consolation goal.
The defeat complicates PSG’s title race, as they now sit only one point ahead of Lens, who also have a game in hand.
