Sevilla are seriously interested in PSV winger Esmir Bajraktarević, with the clubs racing to complete a potential move before Spain's transfer deadline.

Esmir Bajraktarević could leave PSV Eindhoven in the final hours of the summer transfer window, with
Sevilla making a late move for the Bosnia and Herzegovina international.
According to well-informed Dutch journalist Rik Elfrink, the Spanish club have shown serious interest in the 21-year-old winger. With the transfer window in Spain closing at midnight, however, there is little time remaining to complete a potential deal.
Any transfer would require the clubs to finalise the necessary paperwork and Bajraktarević to complete his medical before the deadline. His future in Eindhoven has been the subject of speculation for some time, largely because of his limited playing time and the considerable competition for attacking places at PSV.
Bajraktarević searching for more playing time
Bajraktarević has found himself behind Dennis Man and Ivan Perišić in the pecking order, while PSV are also adding Sami Ouaissa to their attacking options. The Bosnia international has made three appearances at the beginning of the 2026/27 campaign without scoring.
PSV are reportedly prepared to give the green light to his departure, while the player himself is keen to find a club where he can expect a more prominent role. A move to La Liga and Sevilla could therefore provide an attractive solution for all parties.
Bajraktarević remains under contract with PSV until the summer of 2029, meaning the Dutch champions are under no contractual pressure to sell. His current market value is estimated at around €4.7 million.
Sevilla join long list of interested clubs
Sevilla are not the first club to explore a move for the talented winger. Eintracht Frankfurt, Benfica and Dinamo Zagreb have all previously been linked with Bajraktarević as uncertainty over his PSV future increased.
The Sevilla option, however, has emerged at the most decisive point of the transfer window. The Spanish club must now move quickly if they intend to take the Bosnia international to Andalusia before the market closes.
For Bajraktarević, the potential transfer would offer an opportunity to restart his club career in one of Europe's biggest leagues. After struggling to secure a regular place at PSV, Sevilla could provide the minutes and responsibility he has been searching for.
The interest is serious, but the clock is now the biggest obstacle. With Spain's deadline approaching, the coming hours will determine whether Bajraktarević remains in Eindhoven or begins a new chapter in La Liga.
