Police officers were targeted with hard objects, especially in The Hague and Eindhoven, and there were dangerous incidents even in Berlin.

The Turkish national team was eliminated from the European Championship, losing to the Netherlands 2-1. This loss was hard for the fans to take. First in Germany, and then in the Netherlands, hooligans caused complete chaos.

The Netherlands advanced to the semifinals in front of a full Olympic Stadium in Berlin, with fans of both teams flooding the streets of the German capital. After the match, unfortunate scenes unfolded as a general brawl broke out between fans.

An even bigger chaos erupted in the Netherlands. The worst was in Eindhoven. A clash between Turkish and Dutch fans was inevitable, with chairs flying and the streets descending into complete disorder.

In The Hague, police and military police also had to intervene. Law enforcement officers were bombarded with fireworks. After the Euro 2024 quarterfinal match between the Netherlands and Turkey, many people took to the streets in The Hague, both Dutch and Turkish fans.

The riot police and the Royal Military Police dispersed the demonstrations around midnight.
