Jack Grealish received a £1,000 fine and six penalty points after failing to identify the driver of his Lamborghini following a red-light incident in Liverpool.
Jack Grealish has been fined and handed penalty points after a traffic offence involving his £210,000 Lamborghini in Liverpool.
The 30-year-old, currently on loan at Everton from Manchester City, was prosecuted after the vehicle passed through a red light on September 12 at around 11.36 pm . Court records stated the car crossed the junction 1.4 seconds after the signal turned red.
The case was heard at Liverpool Magistrates’ Court, where Grealish was convicted of failing to provide information identifying the driver of the vehicle when requested by police.
Magistrates issued six penalty points on his licence and ordered him to pay a total of £1,044, including a £660 fine, £120 costs, and a £264 surcharge.
The original charge of running a red light was withdrawn, but the failure to respond to official requests resulted in conviction under road traffic regulations.
The development comes during a difficult period for Grealish, who recently confirmed his season ended early after surgery on a stress fracture in his foot.
He joined Everton on loan for the campaign after a high-profile spell at Manchester City, where his £100 million transfer in 2021 made him the most expensive British player at the time.
