Radamel Falcao scores his 347th career goal, surpassing Victor Hugo Aristizábal to become Colombia’s all-time top scorer in football history.
At 38 years old, the legendary striker Radamel Falcao continues to make history. Falcao found the back of the net during the Colombian league match between Millonarios and Boyacá Chicó, earning him a place in the record books as Colombia's all-time leading scorer.
"Yes, yes, yes, yes! The Tiger is the greatest scorer in history!" celebrated the Colombian Football Federation on social media platform X, marking this incredible achievement.
With this goal, Falcao surpassed Víctor Hugo Aristizábal, the former Colombian international who previously held the record. Aristizábal had played for clubs such as Atlético Nacional, Valencia, São Paulo, and Cruzeiro.
Falcao's 347 goals are split between 36 for the Colombian national team, a record he also holds, and 311 at the club level. His most prolific spell came during his time in Europe:
- 83 goals for Monaco in four seasons (2013–2019), his best tally for a single club.
- 72 goals for Porto.
- 70 goals for Atlético Madrid.
After a long and illustrious career in Europe, Falcao returned home earlier this year to join Millonarios, a club based in Bogotá, which he has supported passionately since childhood.
With his latest milestone, Falcao further solidifies his legendary status, not just in Colombia, but across the footballing world.
