Hungarian striker Barnabás Varga suffered severe injuries during the match against Scotland, including a fractured cheekbone and a concussion. He has now been discharged from the hospital, and Ferencváros shared an update on his recovery.
During the match between Hungary and Scotland, Hungarian striker Barnabás Varga sustained serious injuries in the 68th minute. Following a free kick by Hungarian captain Dominik Szoboszlai, Scotland's goalkeeper Angus Gunn accidentally struck Varga with his elbow, resulting in a fractured cheekbone and a concussion.
After the harrowing incident, the Hungarian forward has been discharged from the hospital, and his club has released an update along with a photo.
Ferencváros shared an image of Varga with the caption:
"Barnabas is back home."
