Jack and Tyler Fletcher, sons of former Manchester United star Darren Fletcher, delivered standout performances for the club’s U21 team, combining for two goals in a 5-0 win.
Manchester United’s academy has two rising stars in Jack and Tyler Fletcher, 17-year-old twin brothers and sons of former United midfielder Darren Fletcher. The young duo impressed in a 5-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion, with Jack scoring twice—both goals assisted by Tyler.
A special night for the Fletcher family
Jack, who operates as a winger, and Tyler, who plays in central midfield like his father, were the standout performers for the United U21 squad. Watching from the stands was Darren Fletcher, now working as a coach at the club.
Jack has already been involved with the first team, featuring in preseason matches and making the bench a few times this season. Tyler, meanwhile, spent much of last year sidelined with an injury but is now back to full fitness.
Their journey from Manchester City to United
Interestingly, the Fletcher twins started their careers at Manchester City, only switching to United in 2023, with the Red Devils paying a compensation fee for their transfers.
Darren Fletcher, who retired in 2020, remains a key figure at Manchester United, continuing his coaching career at the club since 2024.
