Michael Olise has emerged as the latest name linked with Real Madrid’s mysterious record-breaking transfer plan.

According to reports from the Daily Telegraph, club president Florentino Perez is preparing an offer worth around €150 million for the Bayern Munich star after the presidential elections.

If completed, the transfer would become the biggest in Real Madrid’s history.

Confusion after Perez comments

The story has created confusion because Perez previously suggested otherwise.

Before the election campaign intensified, Perez revealed he planned to send a huge offer for a player who:

• Plays for a Champions League club
• Does not play in the Premier League
• Operates in midfield areas

He also reportedly ruled out several names, including Michael Olise, which initially pushed speculation toward Paris Saint-Germain midfielders Joao Neves and Vitinha.

Now, British reports have reopened the Olise theory.

Bayern do not want to negotiate

Olise joined Bayern Munich from Crystal Palace and quickly became one of the club’s most important attacking players.

Goals, assists, and creativity made him one of Europe’s standout performers, which explains why Bayern remain determined to keep him.

The player remains under contract until 2029.

Honorary president Uli Hoeneß already sent a clear message regarding transfer rumors.

"They can watch him with five eyes, but they will not get him. Olise is not for sale."

Madrid building a new project

Spanish reports suggest Perez wants a spectacular transfer window to strengthen his position before elections.

Reports also claim Madrid have already secured deals for Ibrahima Konaté from Liverpool and Denzel Dumfries from Inter.

Olise would become the centerpiece of a new project designed to answer the ambitious promises of election rival Enrique Riquelme, who publicly promised supporters the signing of Erling Haaland.

For now, one question remains unanswered.

Did Perez intentionally mislead everyone, or is Michael Olise simply another name in football’s biggest transfer mystery?
