Monaco striker Folarin Balogun has reportedly been offered to Tottenham, with the former Arsenal academy product emerging as a potential option for the London club.

Tottenham Hotspur are continuing their search for a new striker, and one of the latest names to emerge is Folarin Balogun, the Monaco forward who became one of the most talked-about players during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The 25-year-old United States international has reportedly been offered to Spurs as the club explores several attacking options before the transfer window closes.

A move to Tottenham would mark a return to London for Balogun, who spent 15 years in Arsenal's academy and first-team system.
Despite being regarded as one of the Gunners' brightest young forwards, he never established himself as a regular starter at the Emirates.
Instead, he gained experience during loan spells with Middlesbrough and Reims, before completing a permanent move to Monaco in 2023.
During his loan spell at Middlesbrough in 2022, Balogun also shared a dressing room with Slovenia international Andraž Šporar, who was on loan from Sporting CP at the time.
World Cup controversy
Balogun's name dominated headlines during the 2026 World Cup, although not primarily because of his performances on the pitch.
The American striker found himself at the centre of a major controversy after being allowed to play despite calls for him to serve a suspension following a disciplinary incident.
The debate intensified after United States President Donald Trump publicly voiced support for Balogun, turning the situation into one of the tournament's biggest off-field talking points.
In the end, the striker remained available and continued representing the United States during the competition.
Jackson also on Tottenham's shortlist
Balogun is not the only striker under consideration at Tottenham.
Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson also remains on the club's shortlist, although the Senegal international has attracted interest from Aston Villa and Newcastle United, which could complicate any potential deal.
With Tottenham eager to strengthen their attack before the new season, Balogun has emerged as another realistic option as the club weighs up its next move in the transfer market.
