Both joined Juventus from Aston Villa last summer, but their experiences in Turin have taken very different paths. While Lehmann has settled into life with Juventus Women, sources suggest she is committed to staying beyond this season. Meanwhile, Douglas Luiz has grown frustrated with his limited playing time, recently questioning his lack of starts on social media.
“Why have I never played two games in a row for Juventus?” the Brazilian midfielder reportedly asked a fan online, highlighting his growing dissatisfaction.
His public comments have sparked debate in Italy, with Alessio Tacchinardi, former Juventus player, pointing to a disconnect between Luiz and manager Thiago Motta. Tacchinardi referenced an earlier moment this season after Luiz missed a penalty, saying: “When I heard Motta’s response about not speaking to Douglas, my blood ran cold… It felt like he wasn’t seen as an important player.”
