A L’Equipe poll shows PSG’s Ousmane Dembélé as the clear favorite for the 2024/25 Ballon d’Or, ahead of Raphinha, Lamine Yamal, and Kylian Mbappé, with Mohamed Salah ranking only fifth.
While the key battles of the season are still ahead, discussions about the Ballon d’Or race are already in full swing. Many consider Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) and Raphinha (Barcelona) as frontrunners, but in France, fans believe that no one is currently on the level of Ousmane Dembélé.
A L’Equipe poll showed that 40.9% of readers would award the Ballon d’Or to the PSG forward, who has been in sensational form in 2025. Raphinha finished second with 25% of the votes, while Barcelona’s teenage sensation Lamine Yamal came third with 8.8%.
Surprisingly, Premier League top scorer Mohamed Salah does not rank highly in France, placing only fifth behind another Frenchman, Kylian Mbappé.
