Galatasaray has reportedly offered Bayern star Leroy Sane €10 million per season in a bold move following their shock success in signing Victor Osimhen last summer.
Galatasaray are aiming high once again. After pulling off the sensational signing of Victor Osimhen last summer, the Turkish champions are now targeting Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane with a lucrative offer of €10 million net per season.
According to German outlet Bild, the 29-year-old Germany international has rejected several contract extension offers from Bayern, prompting growing speculation over a summer exit. Bayern president Herbert Hainer admitted on Monday that the club will not increase its current offer to Sane, leaving the door open for rivals.
Galatasaray are reportedly hoping to capitalise on this impasse and repeat the unlikely feat they managed with Osimhen, whose move from Napoli stunned European football. However, Bild also claims that the chances of Sane accepting a move to Istanbul remain slim.
Sane still has strong interest from the Premier League, where several English clubs are monitoring his situation. Italian champions Napoli have also entered the race as they look to reshape their squad under Antonio Conte ahead of a Champions League return.
For Galatasaray, the bold offer underscores their intent to become a destination for world-class talent, but convincing a player still in his prime and with options across Europe will not be easy.
