Gareth Southgate knows that after eight years leading England, he must win Euro 2024, or he will no longer be the national coach.

England has already arrived at the venue for the European Championship, where they are one of the favorites for the ultimate victory. England's head coach Gareth Southgate is fully aware that he needs to win something this year, as Euro 2024 will be his fourth major tournament!

Although the English Football Association (FA) wants Southgate to remain as coach, the decision regarding his future contract will be made only after the European Championship.

"If we don't win, I will probably say goodbye," says Southgate, who has been at the helm of the England national team for eight years.

"This might be my last chance for success. I think half of the coaches will say goodbye after the European Championship, that's the nature of this job. I've been here for eight years, we've been close. But you can't keep coming out and saying we're just a little bit short. At a certain point, people lose hope. If we want to be a great team and me a great coach, we have to win in decisive moments," emphasizes Southgate.

England conducted their first training on German soil in front of 12,000 fans.
