Benjamin Šeško has revived his Manchester United season under Michael Carrick, earning praise from Gary Neville after scoring six goals in seven league matches.

Benjamin Šeško has turned his season around at Manchester United, and Gary Neville has taken notice.

The former United captain praised the Slovenian striker after a strong run of form under Michael Carrick. Šeško struggled after his move from RB Leipzig, scoring only two league goals in the first half of the campaign. Critics questioned his adaptation to the Premier League and the pressure at Old Trafford.

Since the turn of the year, the story has changed. Šeško has scored six goals in his last seven league matches. He delivered the winning header against Crystal Palace and showed composure in front of goal against West Ham and Everton.

Speaking on Sky Sports, Neville highlighted the variety in his finishing.

"The way he scored against West Ham and Everton. Those were four brilliant goals. They were all different. One at close range, one header, one from a counter-attack with a precise finish. He's definitely made huge progress."

Carrick introduced Šeško carefully at first, using him from the bench before handing him a league start against Palace. The move paid off immediately.

"Benjamin is on the right track and has made a huge impact in recent weeks. He is learning what it means to play here and to score the winner today is fantastic," Carrick said.

Šeško now has eight league goals and plays a key role in United’s push to finish the season strongly. Upcoming fixtures against Newcastle United and Aston Villa will test his momentum, but his confidence is growing at the right time.
