Hansi Flick marked his 100th game as Barcelona coach with 75 wins and 281 goals, calling the role an honour as the Catalans lead La Liga.
Hansi Flick reached a personal milestone as he took charge of his 100th match with Barcelona in all competitions.
The German coach oversaw victory against Villarreal, bringing his record to 75 wins, nine draws and 16 defeats. His team has scored 281 goals during that span, underlining a strong attacking identity.
"I hope to be here for the next hundred matches. It is a great honor to be the coach of Barcelona, and I really enjoy my work with our players every day," said Flick.
He took charge in July 2024 and delivered the La Liga title in his first season. This campaign, Barcelona sit top after 26 rounds, four points ahead of Real Madrid, who hold a game in hand.
The current spell already stands as the longest of his managerial career. He led Bayern Munich in 86 matches and managed the Germany national team 25 times before arriving in Catalonia.
After leaving the German national side, Flick spent a year out of coaching before receiving the call from Barcelona. In May, he extended his contract until the summer of 2027.
Given the results and stability at the club, further talks over a longer stay would not surprise anyone in Spain.
