Algerian international Haris Belkebla is enduring severe financial hardship as he hasn't received any salary since December from his Saudi club Al Ohod.

Haris Belkebla, the Algerian international who moved to Saudi Arabia in pursuit of a better living, has not received a single penny since he arrived in the country last December, according to L’Équipe.

Belkebla is going through a very tough financial situation, and his life has turned into a nightmare. He has been unable to pay his rent because he hasn't been paid since December by his club Al Ohod, which competes in the Saudi second division. Despite his difficult circumstances and to help the club avoid relegation, Belkebla continued to play for Al Ohod, which he joined on September 12, 2023.

His lawyer has decided to contact FIFA and simultaneously sent an official notice to Al Ohod. According to FIFA rules, Belkebla can terminate his contract if the club does not pay his wages within 15 days.

Al Ohod now has until June 19 to resolve the situation; otherwise, the Algerian footballer will be able to leave the club. Throughout his career, Belkebla has played for Valenciennes, Tours, Brest, and Al Ohod. He has made 11 appearances for the Algerian national team.
