Bosnian forward Haris Tabaković had an outstanding season with Hertha, and his achievements have been duly recognized.
Although Hertha Berlin failed to secure promotion to the Bundesliga this season, Bosnian striker Haris Tabaković emerged as a standout player for the team. Tabaković scored an impressive 22 goals in the 2. Bundesliga last season and provided five assists, attracting significant attention.
Greek forward Tzolis from Fortuna Düsseldorf topped the scoring list with one more assist, while HSV’s Glatzel also scored 22 goals but had four assists.
Now, Tabaković has received well-deserved recognition from Germany. The esteemed sports magazine Kicker has included him in the 2. Bundesliga Team of the Season. Alongside Tabaković, the forward line features Tzolis and Glatzel, with Reese and Skrzbyski on the wings.
The midfield trio consists of Hartel and Irvine, the defense includes Kleine-Bekel, Halstenber, and Wahl as the three central defenders, and Urbig is named as the goalkeeper.
