Harry Kane has been named Bundesliga Player of the Season after scoring 38 goals and helping Bayern Munich secure the first major trophy of his career.
Harry Kane has officially been crowned Bundesliga Player of the Season, capping off a historic campaign in which he finally won his first major club trophy with Bayern Munich.
The English striker delivered a sensational debut season in Germany, scoring 38 goals and providing 13 assists across all competitions. His performances not only made him the league’s standout player, but also helped Bayern lift the German Bundesliga title, bringing an end to Kane’s long wait for silverware.
Kane joined Bayern in the summer of 2023 from Tottenham in a €100 million move. Despite intense pressure and high expectations, the 30-year-old adapted instantly and has become a central figure in the club’s attack.
Next on Kane’s calendar is the Club World Cup in the United States, where Bayern will face Auckland City, Boca Juniors, and Benfica in the group stage. Bayern are widely considered favourites to top the group, and Kane will aim to add a second international trophy to his season.
Meanwhile, Kane is likely to keep an eye on tonight’s Europa League final, where his former club Tottenham face Manchester United. The England captain spent nearly a decade with Spurs but left in search of silverware – a quest that has finally been fulfilled in Bavaria.
