Plymouth Argyle has a new manager - Miron Muslić! His last role was as head coach of Cercle Brugge.
Plymouth Argyle, following the tenure of the legendary Wayne Rooney, who did not perform well as head coach, has appointed a new manager today. Yesterday, Italian journalist and football transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano reported that the leading candidate for the position was a coach with Balkan roots.
Miron Muslić, a coach born in Bihać, grew up in Austria, where he began his coaching career. In recent years, he successfully managed Belgian side Cercle Brugge, even leading them to European competitions.
Muslić’s new challenge will now be at Plymouth, where he aims to lift the club from the bottom of the Championship table and secure their survival in England’s second tier.
The deal was brokered by Slovenian agent Elvis Bašanović, best known as the agent of Benjamin Šeško.
