While working as a pundit during Manchester United’s match against Ipswich, Keane was targeted by a particularly abusive fan. The altercation happened near the pitch, where the fan hurled insults at the Irish legend.
Keane didn’t back down. Instead, he calmly approached the fan and told him he would be waiting outside on the parking lot for a chat. The situation didn’t escalate further, as a security guard intervened to diffuse the tension, preventing any confrontation from taking place.
