Bayern Munich chairman Herbert Hainer says the club has made Leroy Sané a fair contract offer and is losing patience, warning, “If he doesn’t accept, life goes on.”
Leroy Sané’s future at Bayern Munich remains uncertain, as contract negotiations between the winger and the club continue to stall. With his current deal set to expire at the end of the season, Bayern have yet to receive a clear answer from the 28-year-old German international.
After securing long-term extensions for key players Alphonso Davies and Jamal Musiala, Bayern’s attention turned to Sané—but the process has been far less straightforward.
Speaking after the final Bundesliga matchday, Bayern chairman Herbert Hainer addressed the situation bluntly: “We have presented a reasonable and attractive offer—at least that is our opinion. If he accepts it, we will be happy. If he doesn’t, that is his decision. Life goes on. The offer remains the same.”
Sané joined Bayern from Manchester City in 2020 and has had a mixed spell in Munich, showing moments of brilliance but struggling for consistency. This season, he contributed 13 goals and 6 assists in 45 appearances across all competitions.
With no agreement in sight and Bayern unwilling to increase their offer, Sané may have already played his final game in red. The club's tone suggests they are prepared to move forward without him should he decline the current terms.
