Inter want to complete the signing of Marseille’s Luis Henrique in time for the Club World Cup. The Brazilian forward has a five-year deal waiting at San Siro.
Inter Milan are moving quickly to secure their first major signing ahead of the 2025/26 season, with plans to unveil the new arrival as early as June’s FIFA Club World Cup.
According to French outlet Footmercato, Inter have reached an agreement with Luis Henrique on personal terms, and are now negotiating with Olympique Marseille to finalise the transfer. The 23-year-old Brazilian forward has enjoyed a standout campaign in Ligue 1, registering 9 goals and 8 assists in 32 appearances.
Inter have tabled a formal offer of €24 million plus an additional €4 million in bonuses, hoping to wrap up the deal well before the tournament kicks off. Henrique is expected to sign a five-year contract running until 2030, and could debut in Inter colours during the Club World Cup.
Primarily a right winger, Luis Henrique has impressed Inter’s scouting department with his versatility, as he can also operate across various attacking roles. His ability to contribute both goals and assists has made him a priority target, especially as Inter prepare for an intense 2025/26 campaign on multiple fronts.
The move is also a strategic one. By using the special transfer window for the Club World Cup, Inter are aiming to gain an early edge and bolster their global profile in what will be a high-stakes tournament.
