Everton have agreed a new one-year loan for Jack Grealish, with the Manchester City winger now needing to complete his medical before returning to Merseyside.

Jack Grealish is on his way back to Everton. The Merseyside club has reached an agreement with Manchester City over another one-year loan for the 30-year-old England international.
Only the final formalities remain. Grealish must undergo a medical before signing the necessary documents, with the transfer expected to be completed before Tuesday's 11 pm UK transfer deadline.
Grealish already knows Everton well after spending much of last season on loan. He made 20 appearances, scoring two goals and providing six assists, before a foot injury suffered in January brought his campaign to a premature end.
Grealish wanted Everton return
Aston Villa were among the clubs interested in Grealish, but his preference was to return to Everton. Chief executive Angus Kinnear confirmed to BBC Radio Merseyside that the club had remained in contact with the player.
Everton are particularly keen to strengthen their attack because Iliman Ndiaye is expected to join Manchester City for around £65m. Several deals could therefore be completed at Goodison Park before the window closes.
Grealish is not the only attacking reinforcement under consideration. Everton are also close to a deal for Monaco striker Folarin Balogun, reportedly worth around £40m, while negotiations with Tottenham over the return of Richarlison have stalled because of difficulties agreeing personal terms.
Grealish originally joined Manchester City from Aston Villa for £100m in 2021. He has made two appearances this season, coming off the bench against Arsenal in the English Super Cup and featuring in the Premier League victory over Bournemouth, but he did not play in City's 4-1 win over Crystal Palace.
A return to familiar surroundings should provide Grealish with the regular football he needs to rediscover his best form. Everton, meanwhile, could also lose defender Nathan Patterson, with Torino in talks over a possible move before the deadline.
If his medical goes according to plan, Grealish should complete his Everton return before the window closes. Their next Premier League assignment comes on Sunday against Manchester United.
