Jack Grealish responded to viral pub photos by sharing training content, aiming to rebuild his image as injuries and contract doubts shape his next career move.
Jack Grealish is trying to repair his image after an embarrassing moment went viral. The English international spent Saturday in a pub in Manchester with friends, drank alcohol, and after about an hour, fell asleep at the table, with photos quickly spreading across media and social platforms.
The incident reinforced his reputation as a player who enjoys nightlife, something that has followed him throughout his career. This time, however, the reaction was immediate and visible, as the current Everton loanee, still under contract with Manchester City, decided to respond publicly.
Grealish posted photos from training, showing himself on a bike and highlighting his physical condition, clearly aiming to shift the focus back to football. Alongside the images, he sent a short message: "April… I can’t wait to play football again."
The timing is important because the season is already over for the 30-year-old due to injury, which has also cost him a realistic chance of playing at the upcoming World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
His future is now uncertain. Manchester City are not planning around him, despite his contract, while Everton remain one of the possible options if he decides to stay where he has recently been playing.
For now, the focus is clear. Jack Grealish wants to return to the pitch and change the narrative that has once again followed him off it.
