Jack Grealish is back at Everton for a second loan spell after recovering from the foot injury that ended his impressive first season on Merseyside.

Jack Grealish is officially back at Everton. The club has confirmed that the Manchester City forward has returned on loan for the remainder of the 2026/27 season.
The 30-year-old spent last season on loan at Everton and quickly became a favourite among supporters. He made 20 Premier League appearances, scoring two goals and providing six assists, before a foot injury in February brought his campaign to an early end.
Grealish has since completed his rehabilitation with Everton's medical staff and is now ready to resume training with David Moyes' squad.
"It feels so good. I'm so happy. I think I'm at my best at everything in life, not just football, when I feel loved," Grealish told EvertonTV. "That is what the manager has given me, what my teammates have given me and especially what the fans have given me."
Grealish never forgot Everton supporters
The England international admitted the relationship he developed with Everton fans was one of the biggest reasons he wanted to return to Merseyside.
"Every time I see an Everton fan, it is just pure love, and the way they have welcomed me since that first game against Leeds, I will never forget that. It means a lot to me, and hopefully I have made a few Everton fans happy."
His first spell had started brilliantly, with Grealish winning the Premier League Player of the Month award in August. Even after suffering his injury, he remained around the club and continued following Everton closely.
"I had a perfect time here for the first six months, then I stayed around after I got injured. I've been watching all the Everton games in pre-season and since the season started. Now I feel ready to go. I'm ready to start training tomorrow and prepare for the games."
Grealish brings enormous experience to Moyes' squad. He has made 211 Premier League appearances and won 39 England caps, while his Manchester City career includes three Premier League titles, the FA Cup and Champions League.
He becomes another major addition to Everton's summer rebuild, joining new arrivals including Hayden Hackney, Tyrique George, Christian Nørgaard and Brennan Johnson.
After his first Everton spell was cut short by injury, Grealish now gets the opportunity he wanted – to return to a club where, in his own words, he feels "loved".
