Chelsea legend Frank Leboeuf has voiced concerns about his daughter Jade's career as an influencer, citing risks to her reputation and its potential impact on the family name.
Frank Leboeuf, a Chelsea icon and 1998 World Cup winner, has openly addressed his concerns about his daughter Jade’s career as a social media influencer. The former defender, who played over 200 games for Chelsea and lifted six trophies, believes her public role could pose challenges, especially concerning their family’s reputation.
Speaking on French TV show Chez Jordan Deluxe, Leboeuf revealed that he frequently discusses the implications of her career with her. "I am not worried about Jade, but I give her warnings. She does a job which is not one I necessarily appreciate. She is an influencer," he stated. "I always tell her: 'You’ve got to protect yourself, you have to know what you are doing, and why.'"
Leboeuf shared his unease with how Jade’s actions are often tied to his name in media coverage. "In every story about her, it’s 'Jade Leboeuf, Frank Leboeuf’s daughter.' If she shows a bit of bare flesh, the media say: 'Frank Leboeuf’s daughter strips off.'" Despite his reservations, he emphasized their open communication. "She explains why and how she does what she does, and things are OK between us," he said.
Jade Leboeuf, 34, has built a substantial following, boasting 266,000 Instagram followers. Based in Luxembourg since 2020, she shares glimpses of her life, including modeling, product promotions, and family moments with her husband, French reality TV star Stephane Rodrigues, and their son, Elon James.
Aside from her social media career, Jade has dabbled in acting, appearing in the 2016 movie Everlasting and participating in the French cooking show Tous en cuisine avec Cyril Lignac. Having previously lived in Los Angeles and Paris, she now ranks among Luxembourg’s top influencers.
Frank Leboeuf remains a legendary figure in football. During his time at Chelsea, he won two FA Cups, a League Cup, a Community Shield, the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, and the UEFA Super Cup. He also achieved international glory with France, winning the 1998 World Cup and Euro 2000. Leboeuf played for Chelsea between 1996 and 2001 before returning to France to join Marseille.
