Bayern Munich have received a major boost after Jamal Musiala returned to training following the health episodes that shocked football during pre-season.

Jamal Musiala is back on the training pitch, and Bayern Munich believes the German international is moving in the right direction after his recent health scare.
The 23-year-old midfielder suffered two alarming collapses during pre-season matches within the space of four days, raising concerns among teammates, supporters and the wider football world.
Now Bayern coach Vincent Kompany has delivered encouraging news, confirming that Musiala trained with the squad on Thursday and is responding positively to treatment.
While he will not feature in Bayern's Bundesliga opener against Stuttgart, the club remains confident that he will return to competitive action.
Kompany: 'He will play normally again'
The Bayern coach explained that Musiala is adapting well to changes in his treatment plan.
"He's getting used to the increase in medication and he's responding well to it," Kompany said.
"He'll be back in the squad at some point, and he'll play normally again."
The Belgian coach stressed that Bayern will continue to work closely with medical experts before deciding when Musiala is ready to return.
"Of course we'll make that decision hand in hand with all the experts and everyone else. But he's fine."
The update will come as a huge relief to Bayern supporters after the worrying scenes witnessed during pre-season.
Two frightening incidents in four days
The first incident occurred against RB Leipzig, when PSV midfielder Ismael Saibari reacted quickly and helped prevent Musiala from falling heavily to the ground.
A second episode followed days later against Heidenheim, only eight minutes after Musiala had entered the match as a substitute.
During that incident, Bayern captain Harry Kane immediately urged players from both teams to form a protective circle around the midfielder. At the same time, medical staff attended to him.
The scenes caused understandable concern, particularly given Musiala's importance to both Bayern Munich and the German national team.
Musiala explains diagnosis
Shortly after the incidents, Musiala released a personal statement to reassure supporters.
The Bayern star revealed he had been diagnosed with temporary absence seizures caused by a neurological dysfunction.
Absence seizures, previously known as petit mal seizures, occur when electrical activity in the brain is briefly disrupted, causing short periods of lost awareness.
Musiala emphasized that doctors expect a positive outcome.
"I've been diagnosed with temporary, brief, but easily treatable absence seizures."
"I'm receiving excellent medical treatment and am very optimistic."
He also reassured supporters that specialists had identified no additional health risks.
"Importantly, there are no further health risks."
Support from teammates
Bayern defender Alphonso Davies admitted the incidents were difficult for the squad to witness.
"These two incidents broke my heart," Davies said.
"We'll support Jamal, not just as a player, but as a person. We have to support him as a friend, like a brother."
The Canadian international also expressed confidence that Musiala would overcome the challenge.
"I know Jamal, and I know he'll come back stronger."
For Bayern, the most important news is simple: Musiala is responding well, training again, and moving steadily toward a return to football.
