Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala has addressed worried supporters after two incidents on the pitch, revealing that doctors have diagnosed a neurological disorder.

Jamal Musiala has spoken publicly after losing consciousness for the second time in only three days, revealing that doctors have identified a neurological disorder behind the worrying episodes.
The 23-year-old Bayern Munich star fainted during tonight's match against Heidenheim, only six minutes after coming onto the pitch as a substitute.
The incident immediately caused concern because something similar had happened only three days earlier during Bayern's match against RB Leipzig.
Initially, there had been suggestions that extreme summer temperatures might have contributed to Musiala's problems. The German international has now explained himself.
Musiala: 'I understand that I scared many of you'
Musiala addressed Bayern supporters through Instagram following the latest incident and attempted to reassure those concerned about his condition.
"I understand that I have scared many of you. Today I would like to take this worry away and explain something to you."
He then revealed the diagnosis he had received.
"I have been diagnosed with temporary, short-term, but easily treatable outages, which can be attributed to a neurological disorder."
Musiala did not provide further details about the exact nature of the disorder or how long treatment is expected to take.
His message nevertheless provides the first explanation for two alarming incidents that occurred within a remarkably short period.
Second collapse in three days
The latest episode occurred during Bayern's 4-2 victory over Heidenheim.
Musiala entered the match in the 61st minute, replacing Ismael Saibari, but was unable to remain on the pitch for long.
Only six minutes later, the German international lost consciousness and had to leave the game.
The similarities with the incident against Leipzig immediately raised concern inside and outside the club, particularly given Musiala's difficult recent history with injuries.
Another setback after a difficult season
Musiala endured a frustrating previous campaign and was restricted to only 24 appearances because of physical problems.
He accumulated just 1,174 minutes across the season, far below what Bayern would normally expect from one of their most important attacking players.
Coach Vincent Kompany will now have to wait for further information before knowing when Musiala will be ready to return.
Bayern face Borussia Dortmund in the German Super Cup on Saturday before beginning their Bundesliga campaign, but Musiala's health will take priority over his availability for those fixtures.
Musiala has been at Bayern since 2020
Musiala joined Bayern from Chelsea in 2019 before breaking into the senior side the following year.
He had previously spent part of his youth career with Southampton and Chelsea before moving to Germany and developing into one of Europe's most highly rated attacking midfielders.
Now Bayern and their supporters will hope treatment solves the problem quickly.
After two frightening incidents in three days, Musiala finally has an explanation for what has been happening to him, although he has yet to reveal when he expects to return to action.
