James Maddison and his partner, Kennedy Alexa, have welcomed their second set of twins, with the Tottenham midfielder joking that his family now forms a complete five-a-side team.
James Maddison has announced some big personal news away from the pitch. The Tottenham and England midfielder has welcomed his second set of twins with partner Kennedy Alexa, completing what he jokingly calls his very own “five-a-side team.”
The couple first welcomed son Leo in 2021, before twins Delilah and Rome arrived in summer 2023. And now, on October 30, Maddison confirmed the birth of Jensen and Frankie Maddison, taking the family tally to five children.
Sharing the news on Instagram, Maddison praised his partner and celebrated the rare milestone — the chances of having two sets of twins are estimated at around 1 in 50,000.
“Jensen & Frankie Maddison. 30.10.25. Five a side team complete. You’re a superwoman @kennedyalexa.”
Maddison has had a tough spell recently, having suffered a ruptured ACL during pre-season against Newcastle. The injury is expected to keep him out for most of the current campaign, but the arrival of the twins will no doubt provide a significant emotional boost.
While Maddison continues his recovery and focuses on family life, Tottenham are to; return to Premier League action on Saturday, hosting an in-form Manchester United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
A beautiful moment for Maddison — and a much-needed lift during a challenging season.
