Jason Sudeikis will reportedly earn $3 million per episode in the Ted Lasso reboot, making him “TV’s highest paid actor” as Season 4 returns with a bold new direction.

The beloved Ted Lasso series is officially returning for Season 4, with Jason Sudeikis set to reprise his award-winning role while earning a reported $3 million per episode, making him “TV’s highest paid actor.”

After months of speculation, Apple TV+ has confirmed the reboot, taking fans back into the world of AFC Richmond. This time, Ted Lasso is set to transition into the women’s game, with new characters joining alongside returning fan favorites.

A source told Life & Style Magazine: “Two years ago, Jason was telling everybody he was done with Ted Lasso. He wanted to focus on being a dad and making movies, and he got to end the story on his terms.”

Despite his initial reluctance, Sudeikis was swayed by the continued popularity of the show and fan demand for more. The insider added: “Jason is going to be TV’s highest paid actor when this show comes back on the air, taking home around $3 million per episode.”

According to the source, the upcoming season will be even more personal for Sudeikis, with filming planned in the Midwest, where he grew up and found inspiration for the Ted Lasso character.

“This project was never about money for Jason,” the insider explained. “It was about proving himself as a writer and a star, and getting across this message of optimism and hope.”

Ted Lasso ended Season 3 with the coach returning to the United States after his transformative stint in English football. While no official release date has been announced, production is reportedly ready to begin soon.
