The Croatian league title race is heating up, with three clubs—Hajduk, Rijeka, and Osijek—emerging as serious contenders, threatening Dinamo Zagreb’s long-standing dominance.
Dinamo’s decline has sparked harsh criticism, including a memorable remark from former club player Joško Jeličić, known for his bold and often controversial statements.
"Rijeka, Hajduk, and Osijek all play their best football against Dinamo. They stay compact, hit on the counter, and win second balls, while Dinamo keeps handing them chances. And honestly, even Mia Khalifa defends better than Dinamo!" Jeličić quipped.
Dinamo currently sits third in the table, trailing league leaders Hajduk by six points, and faces a serious challenge to retain its domestic supremacy.
