Jon Gorenc Stanković has been named in the Austrian Bundesliga Team of the Season after an outstanding campaign with Sturm Graz.
After a remarkable season with Sturm Graz, where Jon Gorenc Stanković played a pivotal role, he has received yet another accolade. The former Domžale player featured in 44 matches this season, scoring six goals and providing one assist.
Stanković’s contributions were crucial in securing a domestic double for Sturm Graz. Today, as he commenced preparations for Euro 2024 with his national teammates, Stanković was honored by being named in the Team of the Season for the Austrian Bundesliga.
Having played 163 matches for Sturm Graz, Stanković’s career also includes stints with Huddersfield Town and Borussia Dortmund's second team.
The Slovenian international has begun training with the national squad ahead of Euro 2024 in Germany.
