Jude Bellingham’s mum, Denise, and girlfriend Ashlyn Castro watched him play in England’s 1-0 win over Andorra, putting past rumours of tension behind them.
Jude Bellingham had strong support in the stands during England’s 1-0 win against Andorra, with his mother Denise and new girlfriend Ashlyn Castro attending the match together. The pair were seen cheering side by side in Catalonia’s warm evening sun as Bellingham played the full 90 minutes.
Harry Kane scored the only goal of the match early in the second half, ensuring Thomas Tuchel maintained his perfect record as England manager.
Castro, 27, wore a striking red dress, while Denise, 57, kept it sporty with a white zip-up top and striped black athletic trousers. Their joint appearance appeared to put an end to rumours of tension after a previous match in March, when a viral screengrab suggested Denise had given Ashlyn a ‘side-eye’ – interpreted by fans as disapproval. The moment was later said to be taken out of context.
Castro’s relationship with Bellingham, 21, has been under the spotlight ever since they went public. She previously took a four-month break from social media following a series of false claims and online harassment, including a hoax involving an escort site and unverified rumours about her past relationships.
In a recent 10-minute TikTok video, Castro opened up emotionally about the ordeal, saying the hardest part was “not speaking the truth, but finding the courage to do it.” She debunked several internet rumours, including cheating allegations and unfounded links to celebrities like Lewis Hamilton and Jamie Foxx.
“Every angle you can think of, people have attacked me. It’s just been too much,” she explained. “I’ve had three boyfriends in the last eight years. People just made up things to justify hating me.”
Despite the pressure, Castro has re-emerged online and continues to support Bellingham, who is enjoying his rise as a star for both Real Madrid and England.
